Planetary Orbits from the Regular Schwarzschild Metric |

Author: Y. Leblanc (eFieldTheory.COM) Email: AbstractThe traditional approach to the first three crucial tests of General Relativity (GR) was based on the singular Hilbert vacuum metric which was assumed to describe the physical gravitational field generated by a spherically symmetric object (star) outside its Schwarzschild radius. However we now know that the Hilbert metric is deeply pathological and so, in this work, we re-calculate the planetary orbits from the field generated by the massive pointlike source generating the regular Schwarzschild metric solution. We explain the difference of our results with those of the pathological Hilbert metric and discuss the consequences of our results on the three original tests of General Relativity.
